7-Eleven adds new delivery service for convenience stores

More than 700 of the retailer’s locations will be made available through the Waitr platform for delivery.

7-Eleven has signed a new partnership to expand its delivery service across its convenience store network. The retailer will collaborate with Waitr Holdings Inc. on a national scale to provide customers with more options to get their orders delivered.

“We’re excited to reach and serve our customers on Waitr with what they want – when, where and how they want it. We look forward to bringing fan-favorite 7-Eleven products – like ice cold Slurpee drinks, hot pizza or ice cream – to even more customers across the country,” said Raghu Mahadevan, Senior Vice President and Chief Digital Officer at 7-Eleven.

“The addition of 7-Eleven to our platform represents the newest example of our ongoing commitment to expand into new delivery verticals. This partnership creates a new level of convenience for our customers. Effective immediately, we will be able to deliver your favorite food and snacks from hundreds of 7-Eleven locations directly to you,” added Carl Grimstad, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Waitr.

The new collaboration adds a national convenience store to Waitr’s services to go along with restaurant and grocery delivery. The agreement calls for the service, along with Bite Squad and Delivery Dudes, to deliver from more than 700 7-Eleven locations. The service currently operates in over 1,000 cities in the United States and has more than 26,000 restaurants on its platform.
