There’s a scene in “Harold and the Purple Crayon” where the titular crayon-wielding tot conjures up a spread of feet; a picnic with “nothing but pie,” including “all nine kinds of pie that Harold liked best.” Well, Harold would be quite happy here in Oregon, where we have everything from summer-fresh cherry and blueberry pies to PNW classics like marionberry and huckleberry pie! This pie shop in McMinnville, Oregon, is a bit more under-the-radar than some of the others on this road trip, but it’s 100% worth seeking out. This family-owned pie shop in Oregon has been going strong for three generations, and, in addition to delicious pies, they’re also known for their fresh fruit jams and syrups.
